I have read the post referring to me and/or our situation on lawmans message board, I have also read your post on your new message board.

Please be aware that once any/all articles/comments have been submitted to me, they become property of my service (YourDesign2/Akpcsales), please note the copyright at the bottom of the page for The Weekly News.

If you do not understand what took place, it is simple. I did not approve of the way Cindy took an approach to her point of view on the blog instead of e-mailing me directly. I was more then disappointed in you for jumping to her defense publicly on the blog and posting very clearly that you were ready to remove your story from The Weekly News. You did this publicly on the blog without taking the time to call me and ask why I took such a strong stand to Cindy’s comment. If you would have spoke to me first (no matter if I agreed or not with the out come), I would never have separated the story from The Weekly News.

Now as for your posting everything as an exact quote from The Weekly News:

You have a right to post exact copies of articles that were written by Cindy and yourself. Articles written by me are to be removed from your message board within 3 to 5 business days, or I will take action against you for copyright infringement.

You do not have permission to use any articles/original work written/done by me or submitted to me by third parties.

Exact quotes from The Weekly News main page (such as Article 8 (was lost) etc.) are also to be removed within the next 3 to 5 business days, or I will take action against you for copyright infringement.

I am not doing this to be the bad guy, however you did nothing through the course of the article to help promote the article and/or the site hosting it, yet you were fast to state in a public way that you would remove your story from The Weekly News without making any attempt to talk to me prior to going public with a statement such as that. You were also fast to accuse me of working the article for the money. Your story cost me money to keep going, never put a dime in my pocket nor would I ever have made a profit from it or wanted to.

Also I do not expect to see any additional comments posted by you and/or Cindy containing my name or I will consider it slander.

If you do not believe that I have a legal right to follow through with things as stated above or that I am not wiling to follow through, try me.

In the future, I recommend that if your working as closely with someone like you were with me and disagree with that person, you take it up with them one on one not publicly as you did with me. In our situation, if you would have approached things one on one, you would not be moving your story and would fully understand my reaction to Cindy’s post.

"In Search For The Truth"
( PART 33)

Is it me?
Or is this what everyone else who runs across or who has had access
to all the newspaper articles, thinks as well?

Each article I have read to date makes it appear- Jones, Abbett, and
the other Lee County Officials, have contradicted themselves with
their responses, to the questions directly asked by assorted staff
writers.

In some of the articles from different newspapers, these Officials
are asked the same questions as the other newspapers, only the
questions asked---are worded differently.

Why are Jones, Abbett, and the other Lee County Law Officials,
seeming to give different answers?

Is it, they do not realize they are being asked the very same
questions, but these questions, are just worded differently?
I mean, there is more than one way to ask someone a question, yet
the questions meaning- stays the same. It is just worded
differently.

Can these Officials, NOT see this?

I mean these are supposed to be well educated individuals, so one
would think these Lee County Officials would surely see the
questions meanings, were the same. And also, should their answers
not be the same, as well?

Well evidently, NOT !

Because when you actually read several of these articles together at
once, the answers are all different, yet the questions are the
same!!!!

Maybe someone should clue them in on this, do you think? or
maybe.......this might just confuse them more than they already are!
Look at the article below.

Please read it carefully, and judge for yourselves.

If need be, go back and read earlier parts of "In Search For The
Truth" in which we included articles from past newspapers. I think
you will find...............these same Officials were interviewed,
and asked these same exact questions!

The only difference is, the questions asked, were worded differently
yet, had the exact same meaning.

However; D.A. Abbett, Sheriff Jones, and other Local and State of
Alabama Officials, have contradicted- Their OWN ANSWERS!!!
The following is one of these examples!

"Prosecutors Close Case On Triple Homicide In Beauregard
Associated Press
12-16-2004

BEAUREGARD / Prosecutors closed an investigation into a triple
slaying by presenting circumstantial evidence to a county grand jury
that pointed to a man who left a suicide note about depression and
failing health.

Bernard Vaughan, 69, died from a self-inflicted gunshot two days
after the March 26 slayings of William (Scooter) Stephens, 19, Jason
Barr, 25, and Daniel Foster, 24.

The three were shot to death in woods near Lee Road 401 in
Beauregard after the friends spent the day riding four-wheelers."
OK, since when did anyone charged with murder-get convicted on only
circumstantial evidence?

The last I knew, the law stated "a person must be found guilty
beyond any shadow of doubt".

How does circumstantial evidence, find a person guilty, beyond ANY
SHADOW OF DOUBT?

IT CANT!

And, how did the PROSECUTOR, present CIRCUMSTANTIAL EVIDENCE, to a
Lee County Grand Jury?

When according to my interview with Sheri Stephens, (Scooters
Mother) she was told by one of the Lee County Officials,
There was NOT a Grand Jury, EVEN HELD!!!

So to me, I see this as an out and out, LIE !!! To the FAMILIES, the
COMMUNITY, and to the OPELIKA-AUBURN NEWS, all of them WERE DIRECTLY
LIED TO!!!!!!!

"Vaughan owned the 50 acres, where these Young Men were murdered."
THIS PART IS TRUE ..

The article goes on to say:

"Lee County Sheriff Department, Captain Van Jackson said there was
NOT an indication any of the victims were involved in any type of
criminal activity, other than possible trespassing, on the property"
where these Young Men, were found murdered.

IF THIS IS THE TRUTH, then why were Daniel, Scooter, and Jason,
ACCUSED OF BEING INVOLVED WITH ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES, (drugs)?
In which these boy's parent's, DEMANDED A TOXICOLOGY REPORT BE
PERFORMED ON EACH OF THEIR SON'S.

These tests revealed, NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES WERE FOUND, in Daniel,
Scooter, nor Jason!!

SO AGAIN, Parents are told ONE THING, the newspaper, ANOTHER!!! Same
question---DIFFERENT ANSWER!!

Vaughan's suicide note, recently obtained by the Opelika-Auburn
News, made reference to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, a condition
linked to Mr. Vaughan's military service.

The newspaper reported this on Wednesday, after the boy's homicides.
Yet, Sheriff Jay Jones released Vaughan's "suicide letter" AFTER
RECEIVING AN OPINION from Attorney General Troy King's Office, (the
Alabama Attorney General) in response to an "open records request"
by the newspaper.

WHY????? Did it take ATTORNEY GENERAL TROY KING'S OFFICE,
to get Sheriff Jay Jones,
TO FOLLOW THE LAW regarding Open Records, which is the "FREEDOM OF
INFORMATION ACT"?

IS THIS SOMETHING, Sheriff Jay Jones, NEVER HEARD OF, or do YOU
THINK, Jones was TRYING TO USE HIS POWER, until a "Higher Power
within Alabama" INTERVENED??

The last I knew, the SHERIFF, does NOT make the laws, but instead is
the person who makes SURE, everyone FOLLOWS, the laws.......

A portion of the 11-sentence letter relevant to the case stated:
" What with all the commotion, I am so depressed that I don't want
to go on. I believe my health is failing and my PTSD ruins every
moment of my life. My poor brain feels like an out-of-control speed
freak. I'm sorry. I was born a fool, and I shall die the same way."
The handwritten letter was addressed to Vaughan's wife, and was
signed--"Bernie".

UMMM!!!!!!!

NOT exactly the truth here, EITHER!!

The note was signed "Bernie" and also under the word " Bernie" was
PRINTED, Mr. Vaughan's FULL NAME.

How many SUICIDE NOTES have you ever seen, or heard
about.............

WHERE SOMEONE NOT ONLY SIGNS THEIR FIRST NAME, (or nick name) and
directly UNDER this,
THEY SIGN OR PRINT OUT, their whole entire LEGAL NAME???
I have NOT ever heard of ANY type of a "suicide note" with your full
legal name!!! (like who you wrote this note to, does NOT know who--
you are) ??!!

IF YOUR GONNA KILL YOURSELF, You sure as HELL AREN'T GONNA BE THAT
DETAILED, and if you have a spouse, I AM VERY POSITIVE, they already
KNOW your full legal name!!

"In the note, Mr. Vaughan made reference to the turmoil of the last
24 hours, Jones said. While he doesn't say specifically that he was
involved, we consider that strong circumstantial evidence, that he
was connected to the homicides."

WHAT is it, that would make someone ( in this case, Sheriff Jones)
consider THIS PART, of Mr. Vaughan's suicide note, CIRCUMSTANTIAL
EVIDENCE?

WHAT DID I, MISS HERE?

SO MR.VAUGHAN REFERENCED THE TURMOIL OF THE LAST 24 HOURS, AND THIS
MAKES HIM A KILLER???

Again, I am at a loss, as to HOW THE DETERMINATION WAS MADE, (as
Vaughan being the person responsible for MURDERING DANIEL, SCOOTER,
AND JASON?????

"Obviously a lot of the letter was directed to his wife and family.
But I think this gives an idea of where his mind was at the time,
Jones said."

NO IT DOESN'T !!!!!

THIS STATEMENTDOESN'T GIVE ME ANY IDEA OF WHERE HIS MIND WAS!!!!!!
ACCORDING TO THE ABOVE PARAGRAPH, HIS MIND WASN'T WITH HIS WIFE AND
FAMILY!!!!!!

HELL, YOU CONVICTED HIM IN THE ABOVE PARAGRAPH!!!
SO HOW IS IT IN THE NEXT PARAGRAPH, HIS MIND IS WITH HIS WIFE, AND
FAMILY??

YOUR KIDDING RIGHT?

OR ARE YOU PLAYING MIND GAMES, WITH THESE POOR PEOPLE WHO ARE IN
SHOCK, DEVASTATED BY THEIR SONS COLD BLOODED MURDERS, AND WHO AREN'T
CAPABLE TO SEE, THROUGH YOUR BULLSHIT AND LIES!!!!!

YET I AM OFFENDED, BY THE HIGHER OFFICIALS IN ALABAMA, FOR NOT
SEEING THROUGH YOUR DECEITFULNESS, AND FOR NOT PUTTING A STOP TO YOU
SHERIFF JONES, ON THE SPOT!

District Attorney Nick Abbett said he couldn't comment on any
specific witnesses who testified during the Grand Jury Hearing, but
said that Vaughan had made complaints in the past about trespassers
on his property.

Also, the circumstantial evidence in the hearing, was "supposedly"
pointed ONLY, to Mr Vaughan.

Well of course,
District Attorney Nick Abbett COULDN'T COMMENT ON ANY SPECIFIC
WITNESSES!!!!!!

( I wonder, why?)
DUHHHH!!!!!

BECAUSE THERE WEREN'T ANY!!!

These words came out of Lee County Officials mouths, to Sheri
Stephens, (Scooter's Mother). This was their response, when Sheri
Stephens asked about the Grand Jury Transcripts, in which she wanted
to read, and REFUSED to leave the Justice Center, until the
Officials SHOWED them to her.

Then and ONLY THEN, was it revealed to ANY PARENT, there was NO
GRAND JURY TRANSCRIPTS TO READ!!!!!!

I REPEAT,
NO!!!!!! Lee County Grand Jury was ever held, in behalf of the Boy's
homicides, and the involvement of, Mr. Bernard W. Vaughan!!
Lee County Officials felt it was a WASTE of the Tax Payers, MONEY!!!
Since when, did Elected Local Officials,
GET TO MAKE DECISIONS concerning WHETHER TO HOLD a Grand Jury Trial,
or NOT TO HOLD a Grand Jury Trial?

So WHO GAVE THESE OFFICIALS THE PERMISSION to discuss among
themselves, and vote Mr. Vaughan guilty of a crime, and give the
authority to LIE TO THESE PARENTS, about a Grand Jury being held???
THEN TO PUBLICLY STATE THAT THE GRAND JURY HANDED DOWN A "NO BILLS"
DECISION???? PLEASE EXPLAIN OR CLARIFY HOW A MOCK GRAND JURY CAN
HAND DOWN ANYTHING LET ALONE A "NO BILLS " DECISION? ( JUST IN CASE
THE LEE COUNTY OFFICIALS AREN'T EXACTLY SURE AS TO THE MEANING
OF "MOCK" GO OUT AND BUY A DICTIONARY AND LOOK UP THE DEFINITION!!!!
If You don't believe me Look up a "NO BILLS" decision, IN ANY law
dictionary!!!!

The definition of a "no bill" is:
The statement made by a grand jury that finds insufficient evidence
for an indictment against a person on a criminal charge. Also
called "NOT FOUND," "NOT A TRUE BILL," OR "IGNORAMUS."

Just ANOTHER LIE, by these Lee County Officials!!!

As for Mr. Vaughan making COMPLAINTS, why is it when Debbi Foster
Murphy READ these supposed "SAME FILES" concerning this information
on this Case, THERE WERE NO SUCH REPORTS, about Vaughan making any
type of complaints in ANY OF THE RECORDS NOR FILES, she read????
There were NO 911 CALLS!!!!!

There was absolutely NOTHING concerning Mr. Vaughan, and these
Boy's !!!!!!!!!

Yet, Please CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG, but when Sheri Stephens read
these "supposedly same files and records", there WERE REPORTS OF
COMPLAINTS, but WITHOUT any deputy's acknowledgments, or signatures.
WHO TOOK THESE COMPLAINTS???!!

I DO BELIEVE, to be used in a COURT OF LAW, and used AS EVIDENCE,
these complaints MUST BE SIGNED AND DATED, by the deputy who
responded to the call. (if this is the case,where is a complaint
from Mr. or Mrs Vaughan?)
Another discrepancy I have found while reading through the assorted
news articles concerns what D.A.Abbett states. Abbett said, " DNA
evidence collected from Vaughan's property did not produce a direct
link to the victims", and Abbett also states, " there was a witness
to the crime, but not one who could say for certain that Vaughan,
was the shooter.

Russell McCullars WAS THE ONLY EYE WITNESS, and had given a complete
description of the person who HE SAW standing over the deceased
body, of one of the victims.!!

RUSSELL'S DESCRIPTION, of this person, compared to Mr. Vaughan's IS
TOTALLY DIFFERENT,yet;ANOTHER LIE!!!

All the evidence points to Vaughan," Abbett said. "I think the grand
jury was satisfied with that conclusion and the work done by the Lee
County Sheriff's Department. Since there is no one to prosecute,
this closes the case from our end."

WHAT DAMN EVIDENCE?????

THERE IS NO EVIDENCE!!!

We are NOT IGNORANT, we can READ, we do UNDERSTAND, and we WILL NOT
TOLERATE THE LIES, DECEPTION, AND CROOKEDNESS, for a second longer!!
It is time that the Lee County Officials WERE HELD ACCOUNTABLE, for
their LACK OF DUTIES, in investigating this triple homicide of:
DANIEL S. FOSTER, SCOOTER STEVENS , JASON BARR AND MR.VAUGHAN!!all
of which were MURDERED IN COLD BLOOD! WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF
UNCOVERING MORE OF THIS CASE EACH AND EVERY DAY. IT'S JUST A MATTER
OF TIME, HOPEFULLY A SHORT TIME BEFORE THE WHOLE TRUTH IS MADE
PUBLIC, WHERE DANIEL, SCOOTER, JASON AND MR.VAUGHAN ARE GIVEN THE
JUSTICE THEY DESERVE, AND HOPEFULLY CLOSEURE TO THE FAMILIES AND
FRIENDS OF THIS COMMUNITY IN WHICH SUCH A HORRIFIC CRIME TOOK PLACE
ALMOST 3 YEARS AGO. ALL COVERED UP BY INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE A DISCRACE
TO HUMANITY TO SAY THE LEAST!!!!

IN CLOSING I NEED TO CLARIFY THAT WITHOUT EVERYONE'S HELP WE SURELY
WOULDN'T BE AS CLOSE TO UNCOVERING THE TRUTH, BUT WITH HEART FELT
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND DEDICATION, COMMENTS, AND

IN THIS WEEKS ARTICLE, I WOULD LIKE TO DEDICATE IT TO THE MOST PROFESSIONAL POLICE OFFICER, I HAVE EVER HAD THE HONOR TO MEET.

THIS IS FOR YOU LAWMAN!

WITHOUT YOUR HELP, KINDNESS, AND GENEROSITY, I DOUBT WE WOULD HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR.
UPON DEDICATING THIS ARTICLE TO YOU, I FEEL IT ONLY RIGHT TO RE-POST A COMMENT THAT YOU HAD PREVIOUSLY POSTED, WHICH BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES!

IT WAS SO POWERFUL, AND YOU, SIR!
LIVE UP TO EVERY WORD, OF THIS COMMENT!

"THE POLICE CODE OF ETHICS"

There are few professions that demand so much moral fiber as policing.
Police stand in "harm's way" not so much against enemies with bullets, but against enemies skilled in every form of trickery, deceit, feigned ignorance, and deception.

That's why the "Law Enforcement Code of Ethics", published by the International Association of Chiefs of Police, stands as a spirited reminder to the higher order, of this calling:

* As a Law Enforcement Officer, my fundamental duty is to serve mankind; to safeguard lives and property; to protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation, and the peaceful against violence or disorder; and to respect the Constitutional rights of all men to liberty, equality and justice.

* I will keep my private life unsullied as an example to all; maintain courageous calm in the face of danger, scorn, or ridicule; develop self-restraint; and be constantly mindful of the welfare or others. Honest in thought and deed in both my personal and official life, I will be exemplary in obeying the laws of the land and the regulations of my department.

* Whatever I see or hear of a confidential nature or that is confided to me in my official capacity will be kept ever secret unless revelation is necessary in the performance of my duty.

* I will never act officiously or permit personal feelings, prejudices, animosities or friendships to influence my decisions. I will constantly strive to achieve these objectives and ideals, dedicating myself before God to my chosen profession...law enforcement.

Lawman, you have posted on the blog your comments, concerning these 3 Young Men, being murdered and Mr. Vaughan's, "supposed suicide".

Included in your comments, are the facts you believe to be the truth, concerning Mr. Vaughan's, "supposed suicide" from a "self inflicted gun shot wound, to his head."
Also included, are your thoughts and professional opinion, along with many other questionable issues, involving the investigation, of these 3 Young Men's, Case.

You have always been very professional, and respectful, to the utmost degree.
Even as far as calling these Officials, who did this unprofessional investigation, "Your Brothers In Blue"!

I don't know about anyone else's opinion, but this Sir, to me, shows a man of character, honesty, courage, and kindness.
Who has the upmost respect, for
"All Officers Of The Law".

You have gone out of your way, in helping us to find the justice, that these 3 Boy's DESERVE, so desperately.
And YOUR DEDICATION, may very possibly help, find closure for these Parents........... to finally know, WHY- their Son's were murdered, and who the true killer/killers are.

There are no words to explain our GRATITUDE, and our HEARTFELT, thanks!

We feel You, in your generosity, and truthfulness, are attempting to solve this mystery, that has torn so many lives apart.
This is much more then these Local and "State of Alabama" Officials, can EVER say.

All the while, you've kept your professionalism, by respecting and showing your respect for, "Your Brothers In Blue", even the ones that have not earned, this respect.
Yet, you still call them, "Your Brother's and Sisters".

I myself........think your one hell of a man, Lawman!!

You are the whole package.
You live up to everything you stand for, and so very much more!

In closing this weeks article, I have but two questions to ask.

The first is addressed to:
Sheriff Jay Jones, D.A. Abbett, Investigator Keith Jordan, Captain Van Jackson, and Captain James Majors.

Can each and everyone of you, look deep inside your hearts and honestly say the same, about yourselves?

Do you deserve to wear, this badge?
Do you live up to the oath in which you took, to wear this badge?

Be honest with yourselves, and remember why..........you decided to become an "Officer Of The Law".
What made you want to be, an "Officer Of The Law"?

Ask yourselves these questions honestly, and then answer this question-

Do you deserve to wear this badge, because you are living up to YOUR oath?
This oath in which you all took, upon receiving this badge.

If even just one of you feel, that you have lived up to this oath, then I would think.......you would come forward with the "honest to God's truth", as to what really happened on March 26, 2004, to Scooter Stephens, Jason Barr, and Daniel S. Foster.

Reveal to these Parents, the events which took the lives of these three innocent Young Men, and destroyed these Families, who loved their Son's..........so very, very, much!



My second question goes to Mrs. Jo Ann Vaughan.

Ma'am you yourself, have lost two children, one to a "supposed suicide" and the other, was just an infant........from what I have read.
Your own husband KNEW....... your oldest Son was murdered, not that he took his own life!

How is it, that you live with yourself day after day, with this horrid secret inside of you?
Your answers to these Parents, could set so many families, friends, and others...... free, and give them some type of closure, to this horrible mystery!

I am just mystified, by your not coming forward with the truth of all that REALLY HAPPENED that terrible day, to these poor innocent Young Men, who were murdered,
ON YOUR PROPERTY!

Then to top everything off, your husband is found by you, also dead!

Yet, you remain silent.

Remember Mrs. Vaughan, there will come a day, in which you no longer will be able to remain silent.

God knows everything, you cannot lie to him.
Each day that ends, your one day closer, to answering to God.

I would think it better to answer here on Earth, and ask for everyone's forgiveness, than to remain silent.

With your age, and the fact each day brings you that much closer to the day, in which God will be calling your name to come home, you'd think, you would tell these Boy's Parent's, the truth.........but again, this is just my opinion...........

I felt it only fitting, to write this on New Years Eve, "2006".

I hope for ALL OF YOU, the Year "2007", is a Happy, Healthy, and
Prosperous Year, for You and Yours~!!!!!!!!!!

In "Part 31" of "In Search For The Truth" I felt it to be
complimentary to Artie's article, for CNN, if I did this article on
a combination of many things. Being the end of "2006", I felt this
article should also include what we as a Group, of The Weekly News,
have accomplished.
Also what of ~ The Boy's and Mr. Vaughan's homicides~ HAVE and HAVE
NOT~ been resolved~!!!!!!!!!!

I also would like to include things we the Readers, and the
Editors, of "The Weekly News" can worked together as a group, to
MAKE THESE BOY'S, GAIN THE JUSTICE, THEY SO DESERVE, in this coming
New Year, of "2007"~!!!!!!!!!!

There are so many things that You the Readers, have helped Daniel,
Scooter, and Jason's Case......get a little closer to being re
opened, and possibly solved, with-in this year, of "2006".

I would like to THANK EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU, who have made these
(3) Young Men, part of your life, and your conviction to seek
justice for them.
I could NEVER repay any of you, in money, deeds, or in graciousness
and thankfulness . Without Your help~~I, as just (1) Mother, could
NEVER have gotten the information, the research, the dedication and
conviction for these (3) Boy's, that we have worked so very hard, to
achieve for them.

I can only THANK YOU, and feel I am forever in your graces, and I
wish the best for all of you, and your families, in this coming New
Year of ~2007~!!!!!!!!

Let's go back to the beginning, when all of this happened that
fateful day, in March of 2004. Daniel, Scooter, Russell, and Jason
all decided to go 4-wheeling, on a warm Spring Day. What seemed so
innocently a day of fun, turned into a day of tragedy, confusion and
heartbreak, for the Families, of (3) of these Boy's.

The Lee County Sheriff Department was on the scene, very quick that
Spring Day. This seemed so promising to the Families, of these
Young Men. There were so many questions and NO ANSWERS, in the
first few days of this investigation. Questions were asked by
EVERYONE, including the Lee County Sheriff's Office, of who would do
such a horrendous act, in the tiny Community of Beauregard, Alabama?

What had these (3) Young Men done, or seen, that would have cost
them, their lives in such a horrible, and unjust act, of hate?

It was just (2) days later, March 28, 2004 that the Parents, and
Family Members of these (3) Young Men, lives were turned into a
hellish nightmare of deception, lies, and contradictions, by the
Officials who the Parents thought were investigating the most
horrific scene, in Lee County Alabama.

The first contradiction was the fact the only witness to see "the
murderer" (who gave the Lee County Sheriff Department, his details
of what happened and a detailed description of the the
perpetrator) , who was one of the victims brothers~~ stated he
saw a tall, blond long-haired man, in his late 20's, wearing a blue
and white striped shirt and blue jeans, standing over (1) of these
Boy's bodies, gun in hand.

The Younger brother of one of the victims, gave the description and
details of this person, to the Lee County
Authorities...........suddenly in less then 48 hours~~~~~~~The
Parents were informed , Sunday morning March 28, 2004,
approximately around noon-time, that the perpetrator was NOW.... a
TOTALLY different description , different age group, and was the
Land Owner, Mr. Vaughan~~
Who had been found dead earlier, in his yard, of a "self-inflicted
gun shot wound" according to authorities, just hours prior, to
this "Family Meeting" the Lee County Sheriff's Department, had
called to order.

Mr. Vaughan had NEVER BEEN QUESTIONED, but instead, had been helping
the Lee County Authorities with, THE (3) BOY'S INVESTIGATION~!!!!

When Parents questioned Authorities~~~~ WHY~~~~?????? and How
~~~~??????????

Could Mr. Vaughan had suddenly changed from assisting the Lee
County Sheriff Department, to becoming the one and only murder
suspect~~~
Lee County Authorities stated they were going to question Mr. Vaughn
early Sunday morning however, before they could question Mr. Vaughn,
he conveniently was already deceased.

Parents were told later this same day, without the knowledge of the
Authorities, that Mr. Vaughn had not only withstood (1) gunshot to
the head, but actually (2).
When the Family Members confronted the Lee County Officials
concerning this information, Sheriff Jay Jones told the Families,
Mr. Vaughan HAD ONLY (1) WOUND TO THE HEAD, located under his chin,
and exiting out beside his nose.

Parents later learned, Sheriff Jay Jones had lied to them, and the
claims of (2) shots to the head were ACCURATE and CONFIRMED , by the
Official Alabama Forensic Science Laboratory Autopsy, Report~!

Other deceptions and counteractions, swirled around Parents in this
48 hour period, as well. Parents were told several deceptions of
the weapon used to murder the (3) Young Men, the description and
type of suicide note, left by Mr. Vaughan, the manner of which
their Children were murdered, and that the (3) young Men were
accused of performing felonies consisting of, Methamphetamine
Production.

This is the reasoning, the Lee County Sheriff Department, felt these
(3) young men were murdered.

Upon hearing these accusations about their children, the Parents of
these (3) Young Men, demanded toxicology reports to be done
immediately, by the Alabama Forensics Laboratory, in Montgomery
Alabama.

Finding from these "toxicology. tests" concluded, NONE OF THESE (3)
BOY'S, were involved with any illegal substance, or for that matter,
had anything such as alcohol, drugs, or the like, in their system at
the time of their deaths.

This fact alone, made the Parents immediately suspicious, as to
WHY, the Lee County sheriff's Department would allege their children
were involved with methamphetamine, go on any other illegal
activities.

This meeting also contradicted almost all of the facts Investigator
Jordan, had told myself, Debbi Foster-Murphy, in our phone call
conversation on March 26, 2004, approximately 10:00p.m. the night
of the murders.

Also the outright lie, of Investigator Jordan to myself about my
oldest Son Ricky, of wanting to know the approximate time of my
arrival to Alabama, from Washington State, where I was living when
these homicides took place.
Investigator Jordan HAD OUTRIGHT LIED TO ME concerning my oldest Son
Ricky, being on the homicide scene at the same time of the (3)
deceased Young Men, (which included his brother, Daniel) and further
stated that Baptist Hospital was awaiting my arrival, to take Ricky
off of life support, from a gunshot he had withstood, on the
Vaughan's property~~~~ as well.

Later "Parent Meetings" involved contradictions, lies, and
deceptions involving stolen property allegedly stolen by Vaughan,
allegations Daniel Foster, and Jason Barr broke into the Vaughan's
residence and assaulted Mr. Vaughan, as well as robbed him of his "
gun collection".

These are totally false accusations, by the Lee County Sheriff
Department because the Officials CAN NOT PRODUCE any type of 911
tapes, Officer Reports, or other material involving these (2) Young
Men, and Mr. Vaughan, concerning these so-called incidents.

When Mrs. Vaughan was questioned by Lee County Officials, she never
mentioned ANY TYPE OF ASSAULT OR ROBBERY, on the part of these (2)
Young Men, and in fact said she only knew (2) of the (4) Boy's that
were on the Vaughan's property, on March 26, 2004.
These (2) known persons by Mrs. Vaughan were the (2) brothers who
lived directly behind the Vaughan's property, and DID NOT include,
Daniel S. Foster.

In fact when questioned who she actually had known in any context,
Mrs. Vaughn replied she had only met briefly the (2) brothers,
who lived behind their residence, Jason Barr, and his younger
brother Russell.

This is why, the Parents of these (3) Young Men became suspicious,
from nearly the beginning of this Investigation of their Children's
homicides.

The Lee County Sheriff Department changed the facts, and details of
these homicides, and the evidence, details, and information that
was given to all the Parents, was changed multiple times, and no
(1) Official, told Parents the same set of facts.

During the year of "2006", Art Wallace contacted myself in about mid
April, concerning the (3) Boy's Homicides. I had posted a short
comment concerning the facts of this case, and my suspicions of
deception on the part of the Lee County sheriff Department on a
website for Police Corruption.

After several weeks, and many lengthily emails, telephone
conversations, and I sending Art Wallace~~all of the Official
Documents I had received for this case, Art accepted my plea for
help, to somehow draw "National Media Attention" to the corruption
I, and many others felt was present throughout the Lee County
Sheriff's Departments investigation.

We as a group have found over these past several months, many
contradictions, lies, and deceptions from Lee County, and Alabama
State Officials.

With-in the Group, we have had many of our readers do research
concerning these (3) Boy's Case. We have found many more QUESTIONS
then ANSWERS.

Some of the details, that we as a Group have discovered are:

Mr. Vaughan did not shoot and kill himself in a suicide manner,
such as described by authorities.

This has been confirmed by an active Law Enforcement Officer, with
many years of both homicide and DEA experience, who has given the
opinion, that this COULD NOT POSSIBLY~~~ BE A SUICIDE, regarding Mr.
Vaughan's death.

After looking over the autopsy of Mr. Vaughan, this Law Enforcement
Officer, has concluded many things deceptive, in the Lee county
Sheriff Department's account, of Mr. Vaughan's suicide.

He has found that Mr. Vaughn was ACTUALLY SHOT (2) TIMES, and not
(1) time, as still stated by Sheriff Jay Jones.

It has also been discovered that the entrance wounds are on the
WRONG SIDE OF MR. VAUGHAN'S HEAD, to be shot by a left-handed
individual, as Vaughan was.


Further findings confirm Mr. Vaughan, did not have the described
clothing by what Investigator Jordan told myself, the eye-witness
had stated, according to what Investigator Jordan, had re-told to
myself..

Lee County Captain Van Jackson, has stated in his report, a "blue
shirt, and a pair of denim shorts " were recovered from Vaughan's
residence, NOT "a blue and white striped shirt , and blue jeans", as
was described to myself, by Investigator Jordan.

Further research has uncovered many other investigations by Lee
County Officials that are questionable. Also when Mitch Sneed~~did
an article this year, on October 13, 2006 a woman wrote into the
blog, set up by the Opelika Auburn News, and stated her own Son's
investigation was compromised and extremely suspicious.

This Mother stated the Lee County Sheriff Department said her own
Son had committed suicide, but could not understand~~~ how this was
concluded, by Sheriff Jones.
Her Son...................... was beaten, bruised, and bitten,
(which she states was fact when she examined the body,
herself...............and this Mother, as I do about my own son,
Daniel, felt the Lee County Sheriff Jay Jones, did NOT investigate
further because her Son's death was somehow related to drugs.

Mitch Sneed, in my opinion......... wrote this article to deface
basically my reputation, and that of Art Wallace, for even
considering the Lee County Officials, did NOT OWE PARENTS~~~ an
explanation to their questions, but rather a complete investigation
had been carried out .

Many people of the surrounding Communities~~~ including Auburn,
Opelika, and Beauregard, sounded out their outrage, against the
Opelika Auburn Newspaper, in this blog and publicly.
The Community was/and still remains~~~~ IN SUPPORT OF THE PARENTS,
for demanding the answers to their questions.

When this set of articles, "In Search For the Truth" was 1st
started, the only Parent that was fighting these Lee County and
Alabama State Officials was myself, Debbi Foster-Murphy.

Upon the article, " Case Closed?" by Mitch Sneed, (3) other Parents
suspicions grew, and they too........demanded to see, these
Officials records. (I had previously looked at , prior to writing
these "In Search For the Truth" articles.

After Parents researched the Lee County Sheriff and D. A. Abbett's
records, (which by the way, Officials WOULD NOT ALLOW these Parents
to review by themselves, as I did) the parents discovered even more
discrepancies and lies, from the Lee County Team.

Sheri Stephens, Scooter Stephens..... Mother, has reported publicly
on "The Weekly News" that both Sheriff Jones, and D.A. Abbett have
lied to the Families, from the beginning to the end, of these Boy's
Investigation.

In Ms. Sheri's research, she discovered there were no Grand Jury
Transcripts, and D. A. Abbett admitted to her, there WAS NO ACTUAL
GRAND JURY~~~ PROCEEDINGS~~!!!!!!

Yet, in the "Case Closed?" article published by Mitch Sneed, that
is the only DEFINITE COMMENT that was made by the Lee County D.A.
Nick Abbett and Sheriff Jones, when interviewed.

What was commented by these (2) Officials was, the Grand Jury handed
down a "no bill" decision, which is an out right lie,
if there was NO GRAND JURY, EVER HELD ON THIS CASE, REGARDING THESE
(3) YOUNG MEN~!!!!!

D.A. Abbett, had actually stated publicly in the Opelika Auburn
News, the day after this horrendous cold-blooded and violent murders
took place~~~~~ that he did not care about the cost, he would find
the perpetrator , despite the COST TO THE TAXPAYERS....he would go
into a special fund, the D.A. Office had for services of this
nature~~~~~~~~and make DAMN SURE~~~~~~~who had committed the most
horrific motiveless, crime~~~ in Lee County history,concerning these
(3) Young Men, was confiscated and prosecuted, to THE HIGHEST DEGREE
OF THE LAW~!!!!!!!!!!!!! (but this statement by Abbett, later was
retracted, from the O/A News, the following day)

When Ms. Sheri Stephens asked why there had NOT BEEN a Grand Jury
held, or transcripts taken during the proceedings, and where the
Opelika Auburn News publicly printed, on December 15, 2004 "Vaughan
the likely culprit", presented publicly, THERE HAD BEEN A GRAND
JURY PROCEEDINGS FOR THESE (3) YOUNG MEN AGAINST MR.
VAUGHAN~~~~~~~~~~
Abbett stated, Officials knew Vaughan did it, and he DID NOT WANT TO
WASTE THE TAX PAYER'S MONIES~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently Investigator Keith Jordan, has also, been following
this blog, quite closely. Investigator Jordan quoted to Ms.
Stephens, several passages from:
" The Weekly News " and the MANY articles titled, " In Search For
The Truth".

Yet NOT ONCE~~!!!!!!!!!!
Has the Opelika Auburn News, the Lee County D .A. or Sheriff, or
any Investigator, used words that were definite quotations or
conclusions~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!
Instead, the Opelika Auburn News chose to use words that were ONLY
ambiguous, such as "likely", "probable", or "likeliness" to NOT
COMMIT THEMSELVES~!!!!!

Therefore CAUSING EVEN MORE SUSPICIONS, from Parents, Family
Members, Friends and the Local Community , regarding these (3) Young
Men's Investigation~!!!!!!!!!

" This sets the stage"...........for a whole OTHER set of
questions~!!!!!!
QUESTIONS THAT SOME higher, LAW OFFICIAL AGENCY , then Alabama
State, or the Local Lee County Officials, to investigate, these (3)
Young Men's Case~!!!!!!!!.

Now~!!!!!!!!
Is when the NATIONAL MEDIA~~NEEDS TO COME INTO THIS
INVESTIGATION~~for JUSTICE~~for these (3) Young Men.

These families DO NOT have adequate funds, to try and fight both
Alabama State, and local Lee County Officials.

We need a National Media outcry......... to the Public~~concerning
the facts presented in this article, and the other (30) parts
of, "In Search For The Truth".

This is the only way, THESE (3) YOUNG MEN, WILL EVER RECEIVE
JUSTICE, for their senseless, horrific, cold-blooded murders.

Now that the Lee County Officials and Alabama Officials feel, these
Parents may have a chance at " National Media Attention",
as some other high profile cases receive, there have THREATS TO
OTHER SURVIVING SIBLINGS, of (2) of these (3) Boy's.

Would this not mean, that "The Weekly News"~~~ In Search For The
Truth Readers~~~~ who have done this research, and published these
discoveries~~~publicly, are getting....CLOSE TO SOME KIND OF
BREAK~????

WHY ELSE, would the Brothers and Sisters, of (2) of these deceased
Young Men, be threatened?

Isn't this what~~~~~ THE TAXPAYERS WOULD CONSIDER A WORTHY
CAUSE~~~~~ for their tax dollars?
THESE PARENTS, AND other Family Members, Friends, and the Community
of THESE (3) YOUNG MEN~!!!!!!!!!!!!
NEED A HIGHER AGENCY OF FEDERAL AUTHORITY~~~~~~~~~TO COME TO LEE
COUNTY ALABAMA~~~~~~~~~and unravel the mess the Lee County Sheriff
Jay Jones, and his Investigative Team, as well as, the Alabama
State Officials~~~~~~ who agree with Sheriff Jones, including the
Alabama Bureau of Investigations, and Others ~~~ who state Sheriff
Jones," HAS TO GIVE HIS PERMISSION, before they can intervene, IN
THESE (3) YOUNG MEN'S CASE~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!

HOW CAN THIS POSSIBLY BE TRUE~!!!!!! Parents request Federal
Authorities to intervene in what they and many others, including
Other Outside Law Enforcement, is a COVER-UP, and FEDERAL OFFICIALS
HAVE TO SEEK THE PERMISSION, of a lowly, Local
Sheriff~~???????????? O, these Federal Officials, DO NOT HAVE
AUTHORITY~~~~~~~~TO RE-INVESTIGATE, or at least look at the
circumstances~~~~~~~concerning these (3) Young Men's, Case~~?????

As the Mother of (1) of these (3)Young Men, I am pleading with
ANY AND ALL~~~ NATIONAL MEDIA COVERAGE~~~~~
To PLEASE~!!!!!

Pick this story up,concerning My Son Daniel S. Foster and His (2)
Friends, William (Scooter Stephens, and Jason Barr, and help assist
myself, and these other Parents and Family Members, the Friends and
these Young Men's Community~~~~~~~~~, and
SEEK JUSTICE~~~~~~~FOR OUR SON'S~!!!!! PLEASE, I BEG

In Our Article of "In Search For The Truth",
I would like to highlight this weeks Part (30) as an outline of what
I, as a Parent of one of these (3) Young Men, would like to ask and
be answered, accordingly, by Mrs. Vaughan.

As all of you know, the L.C.S.D. DID NOT ask Mrs. Vaughan, serious
or factual questions, in any of their interview, with her.


This week, I would like to ask questions, as the Parent of:
******Daniel S. Foster******.

~~~Born: September 9, 1979, and who became an Angel on: March 26.
2004~~~these many questions.

My Son Daniel S. Foster became an Angel, ........... when he was a
mere, 24 years old~!!!!!!

Yet no one from the LEE COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT, the D. A. OFFICE
OF LEE COUNTY, the ALABAMA ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE, OR ALABAMA
BUREAU OF INVESTIGATIONS, asked Mrs. Vaughan who was the only person
available, to witness her husbands actions on March 26, 2004, in
regards to these (3) Young Men's, tragic and horrible demise!

This in itself is horrendous, but then to have NO ONE, ask the
MURDERER'S SPOUSE, any critical and /or important questions,
concerning the fate of Daniel, Scooter, or Jason~~to me seems
senseless, irresponsible, and heartless.

Why was Mrs. Vaughan NOT EVER ASKED, questions that she alone would
know the answers to, especially since the crime was committed on her
property, while she was outside~~during the afternoon of a beautiful
Spring Day, and especially being....................................
her HUSBAND, was the only named suspect, in this triple homicide?

I would have expected, the Lee County Sheriff Department to at
least, QUESTIONED the wife of, the accused murderer, wouldn't YOU?

If this crime had been committed elsewhere in the United States,
anyone would have been questioned repeatedly, for this type of
horrible, senseless, no-motive crime~!!!

So why wasn't this done by the Lee County Sheriff's Office, or one
of these higher Alabama Law Agencies?

In Mrs. Vaughan's interview, topics covered by Lee County
Investigators included what breakfast items were consumed, and what
was being watched on television the morning of the crime.

No one bothered to feel the importance, to ask questions concerning my Son Daniel, Scooter or Jason's homicides, that WOULD LINK THE
SOLE SUSPECT, MR. VAUGHAN, when questioning this man's wife, Jo
Ann Vaughan!

When the Family Members of these Victims, asked to be allowed to
speak with Mrs. Vaughan, we were told no, and threatened with
arrest, based on harassment charges.

The following are some of the questions, I personally would like to
sit down, and ask Mrs. Jo Ann Vaughan, Mother to Mother, heart to
heart.

This woman has also had a Son, who died under "suspicious
circumstances" and lost an infant Son, as well.

Surely, there would be compassion in her heart, to relay any
additional information to the families of: Daniel, Scooter and
Jason, would YOU not think?

Mrs. Vaughan, has much in common with the (3) Mothers of these (3)
Young Men. Mrs. Vaughan has as well, suffered tragic loss as we (3)
Mother's have, in loosing not (1) of her Children, but actually,
(2). As a Mother who has lost (2) of her Children, it seems to me,
if her husband was guilty, she would have insisted to be present to
the (3) Boy's Family Members and Parents, during the Lee County
Sheriff Department Family Meetings.

Below, in no particular order of relevance, are the questions I, as
Daniel S. Foster's Mother, would be so appreciative to have answered
by, Jo Ann Vaughan!

1. Was Bernard extremely uneasy at any point, on the day of March
26, 2004?

2. Was Bernard angry, on March 26, 2004, at these (3) Young Men, or
at anyone else, for that matter?

3. Was Bernard angry or distraught in any way, after you saw him,
after the shots were fired?

4. How long of a period of time elapsed, before, during, and
after, the shots were fired, that you did not KNOW the
whereabouts, of your husband, Bernard?

5. Did your husband Bernard ever admit to you, in any type of way,
that HE and/or Others, murdered these (3) Young Men?

6. Did you see Mr. Vaughan leave your residence with a weapon, of
any kind, and go down to where these (3) Young Men, were riding
their 4-wheelers?

7.When your husband returned to see/speak with you, after the shots
were fired, did he have different clothes on, then before the
shots? If so, what were they?

8. Did your husband want you to go to Columbus to the Doctor, with
him?
We were told he specifically told you, HE DID NOT!
If not, WHY? Did Mr. Vaughan usually go alone, to Columbus?

9. Did you take the Investigators to the storage unit your husband
had, in Columbus Ga.?
We were told by one Investigator ,You did take them to show them
the storage unit, and by another Investigator, you did NOT~!!!
The Lee County Sheriff Department found it by themselves, and you
were not there, when they opened this one unit rented by, your
husband.

10. Why do You feel Mrs. Vaughan, the Lee County Sheriff Department
DID NOT ASK YOU QUESTIONS, that would give insight into these (3)
Homicides, but only asked you questions, that were of no real
importance?

11. With your husband of several years being the prime suspect, did
you find this odd, Lee County Sheriff Department DID NOT ASK more
important and fact involving questions, regarding your husbands
whereabouts, his leaving the murder scene, his description of
clothing, his taking a weapon from the home, or his physical
condition after the shots were fired, etc?

12. Did the (3) Young Men, have permission to be on your property
this day, or any other day previous, to this encounter?

13. Did Jason Barr or Daniel Foster, EVER ASSAULT YOUR HUSBAND,
BREAK INTO YOUR HOME, AND STEAL PART OF YOUR HUSBANDS GUN
COLLECTION, as we, the Family Members, were told by Investigator
Jordan.
If so, why was there NO REPORT, or any other Lee County Sheriff
Department involvement, when this supposed crime, took place?

14. Did you find it odd, your husband Bernard DID NOT BECOME A
SUSPECT, til after his "supposed suicide"?

15. Why do you think that your husband had told someone that if he
was found with a bullet in his head, to know it wasn't suicide?
Why have you never questioned this fact? You have access to the
same records I do.

16. Did you.. or did you ..have any knowledge of the storage shed,
that held a variety of guns? Stolen truck and boat?

17. What was the reasoning for Ralph Hall to take you to his house
on the day of the murders? And then a little while later....walk you
back home?

18. Did you in fact tell your co-workers that if you left
Mr.Vaughn, he would kill you and hide your body where it would never be found?

19. How do you think that someone with a "mental disorder"...(.as
people have said your husband had) could be, a pillar of the
community?
In the church, in the community, and even regarding Sheriff Jones'
re-election campaign.

20. Did the Lee County Sheriff Department ever tell you, NOT TO
COME TO A FAMILY MEETING, or that we the Family Members, or Friends
of the Boy's, would personally harm you, or desecrate your husbands
grave?

21. Where in fact did you find your husband that early morn? The
backyard? Inside his truck? Beside his truck? And how close was your
bedroom to that area? You heard no shots? How long had he worked in
his office that night? And do you know what he was working on?

22. How many times in the past have you talked to Wanda? Or any
of your neighbors? Have you even tried to contact any of the
parents of these boys?

Not even to say"I'm sorry"? WHY???
IF...I were convinced that my husband had killed 3 boys... in cold
blood...I would be on my hands and knees, telling them how sorry I
was.

Were you told NOT to have any contact with them? And if this is
true, by whom?

23. Don't you think it strange that in the suicide note left to
you, that your own husband signed his FULL name, besides his nick
name, when the note was addressed to ONLY Yourself?
And was it typed? Hand written? On disc? What?

24. DO YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE ,THAT YOUR HUSBAND OF MANY YEARS,
COMMITTED THESE MURDERS,and if so....WHY? Did he admit this, Did
you see him somehow "look guilty", involving these (3) Young Me's
cold-blooded murders?

25. Do you want to clear your husbands name? Or just let the
L.C.S.O. get away with a TOTALLY MISHANDLED investigation, and try
to cover up the truth?

26. Did you ever fear that because the murders happened on your
property and possibly by your husband, that you would be sued and
loose your home?

27. Has the Lee County Sheriff Department or anyone else, offered
you money, or other things, to NOT DISCLOSE, what the truth actually
is and what happened on your property, March 26, 2004?

28. How were you awakened, the night of Bernard's "supposed
suicide"? By the gunshots, or something else?

29. How did you determine Bernard was dead, and not dying, after
you found him, laying outside of your home?

30. Why did you call Ralph Hall, to come over to investigate your
husbands dead body, before calling 911, or some other Lee County or
State of Alabama Agency?

HIS "supposed suicide"?


These are just a sample of the questions I would have for Mrs.
Vaughan, if given the opportunity to speak directly with her. Now
I'd like to add this invitation~!!!!

To the Parents of these (3) Boy's, The Readers of The Weekly News,
and also to the Beauregard Community:

I extend this invitation to ALL OF YOU, to PLEASE ask your own
questions publicly, under my article for this weeks, "In Search For
The Truth". (Part 30)

I further extend this invitation to ANYONE/EVERYONE, WHO HAS THE
POSSIBLE ANSWERS, TO THESE QUESTIONS, to also post them
publicly, under this article in Part 30, of "In Search For The
Truth".

Please bear in mind, any answers/solutions to these questions, that
are received will be VERIFIED AND DOCUMENTED, for the sole purpose
of, the RESOLUTION OF THESE (3) YOUNG MEN'S CASE~!!!!!

This does not mean you may not anomalously give your
questions/answers regarding Daniel, Scooter's, and Jason's Case,
privately!

I would greatly appreciate a meeting with Mrs. Jo Ann Vaughan.
Although I did ask for this to happen, the Lee County Sheriff
Department did NOT allow ANY PARENT, FAMILY MEMBER, or Friend, to
say anything to the wife, of the sole suspect.

Please add Publicly, your questions if you were given this
opportunity, to speak with Mrs. Vaughan, as well.

Other Agencies, as well as Higher Media Associations, are presently
looking at these articles concerning the (3) Boy's.
