(other) Lebanon PM seeks changes to peace plan

Lebanon PM seeks changes to peace plan
U.N. resolution would leave fighters face to face in hills, he says

BEIRUT, Aug. 6 - Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora said Sunday
he is seeking amendments to a draft U.N. Security Council resolution
that would combine the dispatch of United Nations and Lebanese army
peacekeepers with the immediate pullout of Israeli troops from
southern Lebanon.

Siniora, in an interview, said his suggestions were an attempt to
meet the interests of Israel as well as Lebanon and its Hezbollah
movement in seeking an end to the fighting that has engulfed Lebanon
and Israel for 26 days. The resolution proposed by the United States
and France, he said, is "impractical" because it would leave Israeli
occupation troops and Hezbollah militiamen face to face in the
border hills, virtually certain to keep on fighting.

He said Lebanon stands ready to deploy 15,000 soldiers and accept a
2,000-member international force led by the U.N. Interim Force in
Lebanon, or UNIFIL, until a political settlement can be worked out
and a more permanent international peacekeeping force can be
assembled and deployed to Lebanon.

"And this can be done quickly," he said.

UNIFIL has been stationed in southern Lebanon since the Israeli army
invaded a swath of villages in 1978. Having Lebanese soldiers join
the UNIFIL force would enable Lebanese government forces to be in
charge of the border zone south of the Litani River for the first
time since 1978, Siniora noted.

"This is a Lebanese objective and it suits the Israelis' objectives
as well," he added.

Hezbollah, a radical Shiite Muslim movement, and other Shiite
Lebanese politicians have taken issue with the draft resolution
because it makes no mention of an immediate Israeli withdrawal.

"How can you guarantee you are not going to have a confrontation?"
Siniora asked.

Government ministers from Hezbollah insisted that they would abide
by the proposed U.N. resolution only if no Israeli soldier remained
on Lebanese soil, including the disputed Shebaa Farms area that
Israel seized from Syria in the 1967 Middle East war but is claimed
in Beirut as Lebanese territory.

‘Full withdrawal’ of Israelis
"Israelis are interested in having a sort of area that does not have
any weapons of Hezbollah and they want an international force,"
Siniora said. "What the Lebanese expect is a full withdrawal of all
the Israelis from occupied Lebanese territory and to leave Shebaa
Farms."

Siniora, an economist and banker by training, took over the Lebanese
government in June 2005 following the assassination of former prime
minister Rafiq Hariri in February and the withdrawal two months
later of Syria's 40,000 troops from Lebanon, after mass protests.

He said he had spoken with Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice,
British Prime Minister Tony Blair and French officials over the
weekend to impart details of the amendments sought by Lebanon.

Jeffrey D. Feltman, the U.S. ambassador to Lebanon, met with
officials twice Sunday in the Serail, the graceful, Ottoman-style
building that houses the prime minister's office, to listen to
clarifications of the Lebanese ideas.

"We are trying to put into the resolution terms over which there is
already a consensus in Lebanon," Siniora said, referring to his
seven-point plan approved by Christian and Muslim leaders and the
cabinet, including Hezbollah's ministers.

Siniora insisted that the 75,000-member Lebanese army is up to the
task of patrolling the border hills, since it has gradually been
confiscating weapons from Palestinian groups and seizing al-Qaeda
operatives in the country. It recently captured armed Palestinians
who were about to launch rockets, he said.

The prime minister, a moderate Sunni Muslim and a longtime friend of
Hariri, finds himself at the helm of the first Lebanese cabinet that
has included Hezbollah ministers. The Shiite movement established
itself after the 1978 and 1982 Israeli invasions to drive Israeli
soldiers out of the country with resistance and guerrilla activity.

After Lebanon's civil war ended in 1990, Hezbollah remained intact
as the country's only armed militia, at Syria's insistence, so there
would be a force to directly confront Israel's occupation in the
south.

No contact with Nasrallah
The Lebanese government had been approaching the issue of disarming
Hezbollah through a "national dialogue." But those efforts were
disrupted with the outbreak of hostilities on July 12 when Hezbollah
carried out a raid into Israel, seizing two Israeli soldiers and
killing eight others.

Asked whether he had been in direct contact with Hezbollah officials
or the movement's leader, Hasan Nasrallah, Siniora responded, "Not
since July 12."

Siniora's government distanced itself from the Hezbollah raid,
saying it had "no knowledge of it and disavowed it." But in speeches
made since the death toll in Lebanon rose into the hundreds, Siniora
has referred to Nasrallah in deferential terms, in an apparent
effort not to alienate his massive following in Lebanon's Shiite
community, and has saluted Hezbollah fighters for defending their
land in the face of invading troops.

Handling such a crisis that was not of his making, Siniora conceded,
is an "unpleasant experience."

"Yet we have to live together to preserve this unique experience of
diversity," he said. "We are trying to lead inch by inch. We have
more Lebanese authority now than we ever had, which makes me
patient. Every day since I took over we have been gaining more
ground for the Lebanese state. People have come out and said out
loud what they did not dare whisper concerning the Syrians, the
Palestinians and Hezbollah."

Reminded that the Lebanese state has not really controlled the
country since civil war broke out in 1975, he argued: "Have you ever
risen early to watch the sunrise? There is nothing called a direct
shift from darkness to complete brightness. But I really think we
are addressing all the right issues."

(other) NEWT’s RIGHT IT IS WORLD WAR THREE

NEWT’s RIGHT IT IS WORLD WAR THREE

(1) NewsWireUSA August 5, 2006. 9:42 PM. Professor of history and
former Speaker Dr. Newt Gingrich is not a crazy guy that bragged
that Third World War has begun. He knows history and he meant what
he said that it's WWIII. The Congress of Vienna 1815 after the
defeat of Napoleon kept peace in Europe for 100 years. On June 28th
1914, the Archduke Francis Ferdinand of Austria was assassinated in
Sarajevo, Serbia. Austria and Germany attacked Serbia. Russia
supported Serbia, France, Belgium and Great Britain also supported
Serbia. In 1917 the United States declared war on Germany.
http://members.nowpublic.com/neoconsusa

(2) The 1947 Partition of Palestine and 1947 Partition of India
created two artificial states of Israel and Pakistan respectively.
The Six Day War broke out in 1967 in Egypt and in 1973 Yom Kippur
War Egypt and Syria attacked Israel. In 1981 Israel bombed Iraqi
nuclear reactor. In 1982 Israel captured Beirut and forced PLO to
relocate to Tunis.

(3) In July 2006, Hezbollah captured three Israeli soldiers and
launched 100+ rockets a day on civilian targets in Israel. The
minimum political target of Israel in 2006 confrontation is to expel
pro-Iran Shiite Hezbollah from Lebanon, just as in 1981 PLO was
forced to relocate to Tunis from Lebanon. In 2005 elections,
Hezbollah won 14 seats in 128-member Lebanese Parliament and
Hezbollah has two ministers in Lebanese Cabinet. The expulsion of
Shiite Hezbollah from Lebanon would isolate Iran and curb Iran's
geopolitical ambition to dominate in the Arabian Peninsula. The
expulsion of Hezbollah from Lebanon would neutralize Syria and
result in the encirclement of Iran, from Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey
and Syria.

(4) The 1981 expulsion of PLO from Lebanon to Tunis and 1981 bombing
of Iraqi nuclear reactor changed the geopolitical dynamics of
Arabian Peninsula in favor of Israel. The 2006 expulsion of
Hezbollah from Lebanon and Israeli neutralizing Syria would also
change the geopolitical dynamics of Arabia in 2006 and render Iran vulnerable to American invasion and conquest.

(5) President Bush applied Diplomacy of deception and newspeak to
invade Afghanistan under deception of war on terror but to enter the
oil rich Caspian region to control the Caspian oil gas pipelines.
President Bush again applied Diplomacy of Deception and Newspeak to
invade Iraq under the pretense of war to keep Iraq gaining WMDs.
President Bush’s invasions of Iran can no longer pull a new bluff of
diplomacy of deception and newspeak on Iran. President Clinton
deployed the diplomacy of deception and newspeak to invade Serbia
Yugoslavia to engineer the secession of Muslim-majority Kosovo from
Serbia, as Kosovo lies on the geopolitical route of Caspian oil gas
pipelines to Adriatic Sea, the landlocked Caspian gateway to Europe.

(6) Iranian Nukes presents great danger to human civilization.
However, it would be stupid for Russia and China to permit Yankee
conquest of Iran, just as America did in Serbia Yugoslavia,
Afghanistan and Iraq. Failure of Russia and China to oppose American
occupation and control of Iranian Oil would result in the American
domination of the Oil and gas reserves of the OPEC nations, and
permanently change the world balance of power in the favor of the
unilateralist hegemon sole super power United States. Because it
would be stupid for Russia and China to permit American occupation
of Iran, it is very likely that Russia and China would join the USA
Iran War on the side of Iran, apparently to help Iran, but actually
to bring Iran under the joint military occupation of Russia and
China, an Apocalyptic scenario for the Pentagon.

(7) Iranian Nukes presents great danger to all neighbors, namely,
Russia, China, Pakistan, India, Israel, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
Failure of the United States to invade and occupy Iran would create
specter of Nuke-holding Iran. Failure of Russia and China to
neutralize American invasions and occupation of Iran would make
United States the ruler of the world and permanently damage the
multi-polar world. It appears that there is no way out of this
diplomatic checkmate for all participants.

(8) Every possible chess move resulting into a checkmate. Failure to
invade Iran would create a Frankenstein Nuclear Iran just a step
away from Christian-Islamic Armageddon. Failure to oppose Yankee
imperialism in Iran would permanently relegate Russia and China to
second-rate world power status. Allowing Russia and China to enter
Iran would result in Russian Chinese occupation of Iran and damage
Yankee domination of Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Every possible
chess move pointing towards disaster. The conclusion is that World
War Three can no longer be stopped. It is wise that every
participant in the war prepares to mobilize its nation to stand a
better chance to win the war.

(9) The purpose underlying the creation of Israel was to promote
British and American oil interests in the Middle East, and it
provides the rationale for Yankee support to Israel. Jews must never
threaten the Yankee Petro-Imperialism unless they want to pull the
plug on Israel. Jewish Lobby conspired to misdirect Bush's war on
Islamic terrorism and presently conspiring to sabotage Condi Rice's
petro-colonial and counter-nuclear proliferation policy towards
Iran. Jews must realize that the artificial states of Israel, Saudi
Arabia, Iraq and Pakistan based on religion were created to
strengthen American and British control over Middle Eastern Oil
reserves. It was oil not religion that motivated Britain and USA
agree for the establishment of Israel.

(10) It is deplorable that Israel’s Lebanese attacks causing
diversion to Yankee war on Islamic terrorism and war on Iranian
theocracy and war on Islamic nukes. It was plain stupid on the part
of Israel to vacate Southern Lebanon after decades of Israeli
occupation in 2002, when the United States had declared war on
Islamic terrorism after September 11, 2001 attacks, and it might
have been part of a Kissinger-Albright plot to undermine Bush’s wars
for petro-colonialism and war on Islamic terrorism.

(11) The situation in Lebanon in July 2006 as a result of the
Hezbollah kidnapping of Israeli soldiers is geopolitical similar to
the July 28th 1914 assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand of
Austro-Hungarian Empire in Sarajevo Serbia. Israel invaded Lebanon
just as Austria invaded Serbia on account of and after the
kidnapping of soldiers and assassination of archduke respectively.

(12) Israel must not become a pawn in the conspiracy hatched by
Kissinger-Albright-Clinton trio to unsettle the rising star of
Secretary Condoleezza Rice. Jewish writers must stop hurling insults
and racial slurs at Condoleezza Rice, unless they want Blacks to
respond by racial slurs on Jews. Blacks born of slaves are the
original inhabitants of the USA and their conception of US national
interests cannot be sidelined and overturned by the Jewish Cabal.
Bush Administration is not a handmaiden to Jewish and Israeli
interests. Israel is important for USA only so long as it is a
willing instrument for the promotion of American national interests.
The United States has every right to use Big Stick to discipline
Israel if ever Israel worked towards undermining American national
interests. The destiny of Israel is to act as the colony of the USA
to promote national interests of the United States. The WASPs must
not allow Israelis to undermine the interests of American petrol
colonialism, just as what Bolshevik Jews did to the Soviet Union and
Eastern Europe.

(13) Jewish lobby led by Kissinger-Albright-Clinton conspiring to
sabotage the Bush Administration’s wise policy of petro-imperialism
in Iran, by playing the wild Israeli card in diplomacy. Jewish lobby
is very unhappy that black woman Secretary Condoleezza Rice like her
predecessor Secretary Colin Powell has replaced Ashkenazim foreign
policy put into place by secretaries Kissinger, Brzezinski and
Albright that purposely sidelined pro-WASP American national
interests to promote the hidden agenda of pro-Papacy Judeo-Christian
religious right conservative conspiracy.

(14) Geopolitical Doctrine of Secretary Rice states that the
national interests of the United States should be defined to promote
the civilization interests of Reformed Christianity and American
civilization and economic interests of the Yankee petro-colonialism.
The Christian religious right conservative conspiracy and President
Jimmy Carter installed Ayatollah Khomeini and ultra-conservative
theocracy in Iran replacing modern secular Pahlevi Monarchy. The
Kissinger-Albright-Clinton conspiracy seeks to sabotage Yankee
invasions of Iran to perpetuate the Theocracy in Iran.

(15) The Kissinger-Albright-Hillary Clinton Axis conspiring to side
track the US invasions of Iran by conflagration of Israel-Lebanon
War. Henry Kissinger, Madeleine Albright and Hillary Clinton fear
that Yankee invasions of Iran would ensure Republican victory in
presidential elections 2008 with Condoleezza Rice as Vice President.
Jewish lobby and Clinton lobby would like to see a Israeli War that
would side track or damage Yankee invasions of Iran.

(16) Kalki Gaur would like to have some inputs from diplomats and
political strategists to get a better grip to the unfolding
diplomatic events taking place in the Middle East and Iran.

A Search for the Truth (part 15)

A Search for the Truth (part 15)

As I said last week, we are going to start getting to know the boys,
the crime scene and other details with the aid of photos. I hope
that through the aid of the photos, we can help you to get a feel
for just how these boys were as well as what took place.

We will be introducing additional photos and document scans as we
continue. Future photos will show the boys, the smiles that will
never be seen again, the friends and family that they left behind.

For this week, I would like to give you your first look at the boys,
as the families have to see them today. For the parents out there, I
can only hope that you never have to share photos like these of your
children and I also hope these photos give you more of a sense of
what the families of these boys are going through.

I will also be sharing this week photos of where the shootings took
place as well as a scan of a document from the Alabama Dept. Of
Forensic Services

If you were to meet Daniel, Jason and Scooter today, this is how
they would look.

What chance did these boys have?

Why was justice never served for the taking of their lives?

Just imagine what was going through their minds in their last
moments of life.

Below are photos of where the shootings took place. Picture
yourself in the middle of this open area, a gun pointing at you,
your friends are being shot. Now the shooter is shooting at you!

Where do you run for cover? What chance do you have of getting away?
What do you think of, as you know your life is about to be taken
from you?

As a parent, you would demand to have the person responsible for
your Childs death brought to justice. How do you react when all the
authorities give you is lies and fictional suspects?

The Sheriff’s Department claimed that Mr. Vaughan was the murder. We
have spoke of the facts behind Mr. Vaughan and his so called
suicide. In discussion, many questions were brought up. One of the
more important ones is the shot’s that took the life of Vaughan.

Below is a scan of the actual diagram from the Alabama Dept. of
Forensic Sciences dated 10/20/2004. The diagram shows the entry and
exit point of both shot’s that took the life of Mr. Vaughan. In
reviewing the diagram, consider that it has been declared that both
shots were fired by Vaughan himself and that the cause of death was
suicide.

Full size scan is available through the photo gallery link to the
top right of this page.

Now I would like you (the readers) to put yourselves in the place of
these boys’ parents. How would you feel having to view your child as
they do? What do you think your child’s last thoughts were? What do
you feel about the authorities telling you that Vaughan killed your
child then himself in the manner shown in the report?

I think we all got a good look into the lives of what these families
are dealing with this week. As we continue next week, we will start
taking a look at additional documents and a look into what these
parents have to remember of their children.

We will share before and after photos of the boys. Before and after
meaning that this week we got to see them after the shooting. Next
week we will start seeing them before (full of life and with a
future ahead of them).

Pleas start sharing your thoughts. I think we have enough to comment
on this week and we have a lot to think about on the case as well as
the families and the boys. Reach into your hearts and minds and see
just why this case needs to be reopened. Then start posting to help
make it happen!

Driver Safe After Dallas Truck Hijacking

DALLAS A man who hijacked an 18-wheeler and held the driver hostage
for four hours surrendered to police after an officer shot out the
tires and fired tear gas into the cab.

Samuel Scott Jones, 32, of Dallas, was arraigned Monday on charges
of kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon, sheriff's Lt. John
Norton said. His bond was set at $250,000 on each charge. An
attorney had not been appointed for Jones, who remained in the
Collin County jail Monday.

The driver and her dog ran to safety after the standoff, which
followed a 3-hour police chase through three counties. It began
about 4:20 p.m. Sunday in Collin County, north of Dallas, when a man
called police to say that his wife had been carjacked.

Norton identified the woman as Christie K. Bundren, 51, of Allen.

She was reunited with family at the sheriff's department late Sunday.
"It just scared me to death," Bundren said as she tearfully hugged
family members outside the department.

A man who answered the door Monday at an address listed for her in
Allen said she declined to comment further.

Dallas police Lt. Rick Watson said the suspect ordered a man out of
the truck before driving off with the woman. The chase wound along
tollways, through downtown and residential sections of Dallas and
onto Interstate 20 toward Fort Worth.

During the chase, the suspect conducted an interview with Dallas
television station WFAA in which he said he did not believe the
chase would end peacefully and spoke about injustice toward black
men in the United States.

Department of Public Safety troopers pulled alongside the truck and
a trooper used a rifle to fire at the radiator and tires, forcing
the vehicle to a stop on the western edge of Fort Worth. The suspect
surrendered about an hour later, after the tear gas was fired into
the cab.

The man may also have been involved in two other carjackings prior
to the chase, police said.

A man fitting the suspect's description carjacked a Lexus just
before 3 p.m., said Carrollton police Sgt. Patrick Murphy. The man
reportedly pointed a gun at someone who tried to help the victim.

"Within 10 minutes that Lexus was wrecked just north of our city in
Denton County," Murphy said.

The suspect then flipped the car in a roadside ditch in Denton
County, said Tom Reedy, a spokesman for the Denton County Sheriff's
Office. The suspect then took an Infiniti from a driver who stopped
at the scene, police said.

"I pulled over on the side of the road and rolled my window down and
asked if he was OK," Dr. Joseph Surdacki told Dallas-Fort Worth
television station KDFW. "The next thing I knew he put a gun to my
head and just told me to get out of the car."

The man then filled up the car at a truckstop near Fairview in
Collin County, but could not get the vehicle to start. He then took
the tractor-trailer, police said.

Collin County authorities initially told Dallas police that the
woman and her husband were in the truck. But her estranged husband,
Larry Bundren, told radio station KRLD that he watched the chase on
television.

"I'm glad Christie made it out OK. I'm very proud of her," Larry
Bundren said.
